The Self Improvement Blog

Welcome to my “New and Improved” Blog

This week I have been working to restore the Self Improvement Blog. Last week, we put a new Theme on it and it simply didn’t work. Christopher worked and worked on it and I sat and looked at it in bewilderment, able to post articles in only one place. Nothing worked. No matter what I tried—nothing. I managed to get the bio for the radio show guest on but no more. The more I worked on it, the worse it got.

I really tried to see the humor in it, but nothing about it seemed funny.

That’s kind of like life sometimes, isn’t it? Everything is going well and then, suddenly—it’s not working at all. All we can do is pick up the pieces, put as many back together as we can and go on learning, growing and laughing.

Finally, I said “Enough, already!” We put the old theme back on. I liked this  theme but I never quite got it together before  we put on the “Theme that wasn’t.”  There was so much life happening around me that the blog got pushed to the back burner and I didn’t give it the time it needed.

But this week, I really got into it and decided it was time to breathe life back into it. But not just get it working—I wanted to make it better than ever—First Class, Top Drawer, The Best of the Best.

I’m not finished yet but I’d love your opinions before I put the final touches on it. Actually, the blog is always a work in progress. Like us, it grows and develops as it ages and as things change. I don’t know if blogs are like dogs and age 7 years to our one but it seems like that.

So I ask you:

What do you think about it so far?

How do you like the new logo?

What would you like to see here?

What do you think needs to be removed?

Are there more categories to add?

More pictures?

I’m planning on video very soon. What would you like to see in video?

I’m planning to have more “guest contributors” writing articles on a regular basis. What about YOU? I’ll bet you have a lot to say that people would love to hear.

I do this blog for you, so let me know.
