There are some time and guest changes in the show this week. It will now broadcast live at 12 noon PDT and will have new music that’s much more mellow and is aptly named “Heart to Heart.”
Time and guest changes
The second change is a change in the guest. I’m sorry to say that Kasey Clator is ill and has had to reschedule for a later date. While I’m disappointed because I was looking forward to our visit, it is important that she take care of herself. We wish her a quick recovery.
But almost always good news comes with the bad. At lease I’m seeing it as an opportunity.
You see, it’s been a long time since I had a chance to do the show solo and I have a lot of things to talk about. There are some relatively new things going on in the realm of self improvement and some really exciting things science is learning about the brain and neuroplasticity that have everything to do with self improvement and creating change. Never before has the door been so wide open for us to change those things we want to change about ourselves and our lives. I am reminded of the poem Invictus by William Ernest Henley. See below.
So join me and we’ll chat. I invite you to call in if you have something you want to talk about or share with the audience.
The call-in number is 888-346-9141
By William Ernest Henley
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.
