#1 Let Go of Negativity
Health and happiness go hand-in-hand. The healthier your brain and body are, the happier you’ll be.
So, it’s time to stop dwelling on the bad and focusing on the good. Negativity leads to stress – and stress can hurt your immune system.
Rather than focusing on the negative things in life – many of which you probably can’t control anyway – learn to look at the positives. Take things day-by-day. Be present and learn to enjoy each moment as it happens!
Things as simple as smiling can make a big difference in your life. The more you smile, the more people will perceive you as a happy person – and that will affect the environment around you. When you learn to adopt a positive outlook, you’re going to want to smile even more!

Whether you prefer fall nature walks or summer strolls on the beach, enjoying natural environments can help boost your mood. There’s a reason why people vacation in mountain towns and on tropical beaches!
#5 Don’t Compare Yourself to Others
Having a positive self-image is essential to being happy. It’s time to stop making yourself feel like you don’t measure up to your peers.
Don’t concern yourself with how many likes, comments, or retweets you get on social media. Instead, pay attention to what makes you feel good – not what makes you question your likability.
Everyone has a different level of potential. Not everyone can become a brain surgeon, run a billion-dollar tech company, or become an award-winning actor. Stop comparing your achievements to others and set goals that you can actually attain.
